Detail Itinerary of Evergreen Deccan Tour

Day 01 Arrival Cochin
On your arrival, you will be greeted by our representative. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 Cochin-Allepey
Morning, we will visit the tourist places in the city like Chinese Fishing nets: The Chinese fishing nets found here are the only ones of its kind in India; St Francis Church: It is the oldest church built by European in India;Jew Town: The area around the Synagogue is a centre of spice trade and curio shops. Then we will drive to Allepey.

Day 03 Allepey – Kollam
It is known as Venice of East. It has amazing scenic beauty which is further enhanced by the paddy fields & coconut trees. Enjoy your day cruising and relaxing. Overnight stay will be on house boat.

Day 04 Kollam- Kovalam
We will reach Kollam, it has some beautiful temples but mainly known for its backwaters. Overnight will be at houseboat.

Day 05 Kovalam
Kovalam has the best beach in India, which is internationally renowned. Just enjoy the calm water, massages & the sun bath.

Day 06 Kovalam-Trivandrum-Periyar
In the morning we will drive to Periyar enroute visiting Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala. Later continue our journey.

Day 07 Periyar-Madurai
Periyar is famous for its wildlife sanctuary; best way to see it is boat cruise. Afterwards we will proceed to Madurai.

Day 08 Madurai –Tanjore
In the morning we will explore the city of Madurai which is one of the oldest city & has been a centre for learning. The main attraction is Meenakshi Temple built in Dravian style. We will go to our next destination Tanjore.

Day 09 Tanjore – Swami Malai
 Tanjore is well known for its traditional handicrafts. Out of the 74 temples, the finest is the Sri Brihadeswara temple. Later we will proceed to Swami malai.

Day 10 Swami Malai – Pondicherry
Swami Malai village is renowned for its Subrahmanya Temple. It is also important for connoisseurs of traditional art of bronze. After the sight seeing we will go to Pondicherry.

Day 11 Pondicherry - Mahabalipuram
Pondicherry is a universal town, where people from different nationalities, faiths and beliefs, can live in peace and harmony. We will see Shri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry Museum. Then we will drive 100 kms to reach Mahabalipuram. Here enjoy the beaches.

Day 12 Mahabalipuram
Its time to explore Mahabalipuram, famous for its shore temples & sixteen manmade caves in different stages of completion, are also seen scattered through the area. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 13 Mahabalipuram – Chennai
Drive to Chennai, your day is free with the car at your disposal. In time get transferred to airport for your flight back home.
